About Me

From a young age, I dreamed of starting my own business. Life, however, introduced me early to medical responsibilities within my family. Supporting and caring for my loved ones through their healing journeys shaped me deeply. Those experiences showed me that helping and caring for others isn’t just something I do - it’s something I’m called to do. 

I began my career as a PSW in 2009, where I developed meaningful connections with families and built strong caregiving skills. While I truly loved supporting my clients, I often felt that larger companies didn’t always provide the personalized care people deserved. That realization inspired me to create something different. I wanted a service where clients are treated as individuals, not numbers—where genuine care, respect, and trust come first. In 2019, I turned that vision into reality by launching Koalaty Kare, a service grounded in compassion and real human connection.

A smile and a goal for warmer days ahead is what I believe in.

Fun fact: The very first logo was actually a hand-drawn koala created by Kim’s son. It started as a sweet, personal drawing and became a meaningful symbol of care, comfort, and love - the same values the business was built on.

The name also began as “Kim’s Koalaty Kare,” reflecting that personal, family-led touch. As the company grew and evolved, a rebrand in 2025 brought a refreshed look and a simplified name: Koalaty Kare.

While the brand has grown, the heart behind it remains the same - genuine care, compassion, and treating every client like family.
